I stopped on my drive out to Holden Arboretum for a hike yesterday morning to grab a shot of the beautiful sunrise.
A little bit farther down the road I came to another spot that was worth stopping the car for another quick shot.
From here it was onto a two or three mile hike into the woods to photograph Stebbin’s Gulch for a couple hours. Shots from that coming later.
I didn’t take my gear with me, but I grabbed some nice shots with my wife’s Canon SD1000. A pretty decent little camera that fits neatly into your pocket.
If you lived anywhere in Northern Ohio this weekend you probably spent just about as much time with a shovel as I did. I figured it was only fair to get a picture of us together so we could remember this special weekend.
