Finally finished editing Shida and Maurice’s wedding pictures. So many great shots and that’s all because they were so fun to work with.
I met up with Shida at the Glidden House while she was finishing her make-up and getting into her dress. Maurice and the guys met us there a bit later for a first look. I have to admit, I winged it on this and just got lucky that the elevator opened up into a great place to pull this off. Maurice was very patient while Shida teased him from the open door of the elevator! I’m not sure I would have waited until she came up and tapped his shoulder.
After the first look and a few formal pictures inside of Glidden, we all braved the cold temps and went outside to take advantage of the crystal blue sky and fantastic architecture that surrounds the CWRU campus. It was a short – and cold – walk from Glidden to Harkness Chapel and it provided a few stops to grab some great pictures of the whole wedding party. Did I mention it was cold?
The ceremony was perfect. Lots of laughs and smiles. Then it was off to Nighttown for the reception! Great club and I think it fit the couples style perfectly.
I wish Shida and Maurice all the best and a future full of happiness. It’s very easy to see they are perfect for each other and off to a wonderful start on their marriage!
I can’t say enough about how much fun it was to work with Candice and Tom. Their engagement session is one of the most popular on the blog. Their wedding completely rocked. Such a great time. I actually had a hard time picking pictures for the blog. I wanted to throw about 500 images up here, but I narrowed it down to just 20 or so of my absolute favorites.
I have to say, Candice and Tom did their day up right. You could tell they were surrounded by family and friends that truly cared for them. It showed time and time again throughout the day.
Congratulations to both of you! And there was a lot of talk about lots of babies so you better be giving me a call in the future!
I can’t say enough good things about how much fun Carli and Kevin were to work with from their engagement session back in June up until their wedding this last weekend.
The morning started with the girls (in plaid) getting ready at Carli’s mom’s condo before heading over to Mentor United Methodist Church for the ceremony. From there it was off to Colby Park for formals and then time to dance the night away at the Radisson.
Besides how great the wedding party, family, and friends were – the weather also did a nice job of cooperating with us and keeping the rain away – cloudy was good. Rain wouldn’t have been.
I wish Carli and Kevin nothing but the best and a future full of happiness together. From what I’ve seen in my time spend with them it should be easy for them to achieve!
On to the pictures!
This could be my most favorite dress shot I’ve taken.
O-H!
And maybe it’s because I have a little girl that I’ll one day dance a Father-Daughter dance with on a wedding day, but this picture of Carli and her father makes me smile. Another instant favorite of mine!
Kevin is a braver man than me! Look at the stare down he’s getting from his new father-in-law!
Just a quick picture from yesterday’s wedding! Carli and Kevin have been a blast to work with from the engagement session right up to yesterday! Had a great day with them!
Last weekend I had the honor of shooting the wedding of Andrea and Keith along with my good friend Andrea from Photographs by Andrea.
We met up with the couple on Friday night to catch a rehearsal of their ceremony at Windows on the River and then followed them over to the Corner Alley to finish off the night with some good times and bowling. I have to say, both places were fantastic hosts.
The whole wedding party had a great time and they were a blast to hang out with all weekend long.
I wish Andrea and Keith all the best in their future together. They are off to a fantastic start!
Make sure to check out more pictures over at Andrea’s blog!
