There is no reason team photos have to be all boring and one some pretend stadium backdrop. Make the kids look like all stars. A crop like this even has room for a team logo, or league logo in the negative space.

Sunday, April 1st, 2012Kristin + Bob – The Engagement Session
Wednesday, March 14th, 2012I’ve known Kristin for a lot of years. I think we met walking home from the bus stop back in our middle school days. It just so happens my wife has known her for just about as long as well. I can’t remember when exactly we met Bob, but he quickly became another old friend. That means we have a good time whenever we all get together and I was honored to be chosen to be such a big part of their wedding.
Lilly & Leah: One Year
Tuesday, January 10th, 2012This is the second time twin sister’s Lilly and Leah make an appearance here at LoC! This time around it’s to celebrate turning one! Woot!
Have you ever seen a more stoic wooden pony rider? That’s serious business going on! Speaking of going on. One year old is a lot more mobile that six months! When they were done with me, they were off on the go!
Lauren + Eric: Engaged!
Wednesday, September 28th, 2011I first met Lauren about a year ago when she was a bridemaid at Carli and Kevin’s wedding. I had no idea then that almost a year later I would be shooting her engagement photos or heading off to Mexico to be a part of their wedding day in 2012.
She’s a nurse. He’s a fire fighter. They met on the job and she knew right away she had found Mr. Right! That was a few years back, but she obviously knew what she was talking about. Eric is a great guy. I’ had a lot of fun talking with them about their wedding, engagement, sports, the housing market…we talked…a lot…
First stop on our evening shoot was at Eric’s fire station. I swear, this has been a year of firetrucks for me. Third shoot this year around a big red truck. I told the rest of the guys at the station that is was their job to heckle Lauren and Eric as I took pictures but none of them stuck around once I broke out the camera. After we finished up there we made a trip down to the east bank of the Flats and East 4th St. We even snuck into the Old Arcade long enough to get one picture on the steps before security caught on to what we were doing. But since they didn’t actually make it over to tell us to go away then we really didn’t do anything wrong, right?
Spicuzza Family
Monday, September 26th, 2011I normally spend one Saturday in August chasing Chris, Janice and the rest of their family around the streets of downtown while they run the Cleveland Triathlon. This year they finally decided to make it easier on me and we set up a time to get together and take some family photos that were not quite as hot and sweaty.
We met last Saturday morning down in the Eastman Reading Garden next to the Cleveland Public Library. It’s pretty neat little spot that has a variety of backdrops right there as well as a quite a few other great locations within walking distance. While little Derrick may have wanted us to chase him all over downtown, we never had to leave the garden. I was able to get a bunch of great shots and everybody had a lot of fun.
