1st Communion – Paige

Sunday, April 8th, 2012

So this post is a little special because my daughter is the subject.  She came to me a few weeks ago and asked me to treat her like a bride and take pretty pictures of her getting ready for her First Communion.  She’s eight.  She’s going to have some high expectations come her actual wedding day!

This was just a dress rehearsal.  Her actual First Communion isn’t for a few more weeks.  I’m sure she’ll have more expectations for her photographer on that Sunday as well! ;)

Family: Kathy, Nick & the Girls

Monday, March 19th, 2012

I first shot Kathy and Nick’s family about a year or so ago around the holiday season.  That was an indoor session down at the Old Arcade.  This time we took advantage of the beautiful weather to get out and have some fun at the beach.

Amazing to be doing beach shoots in Cleveland in March!  In shorts no less!

We strolled along the shore of Lake Erie for about an hour, took some great pictures and ended up back at our cars just as an afternoon rain shower blew in.

Kicking off 2012!

Sunday, January 1st, 2012

Well, another year has come and gone.  2011 was incredibly successful for LoC and I’m hoping that all my past, present and future fantastic clients help make 2012 even better.

I know a lot of photographers post “year in review” blogs right around now, I was tempted to as well, but there were just to many photos to amazing photos to choose from and I didn’t want anybody to be left out.  Instead, I’m going to look forward at what I want 2012 to be like for LoC.

1. More Weddings!  I’ve got a goal to double the number of weddings I shot in 2011!  Are you one of them?  If you’re getting married, or know somebody that is let them know how great LoC is!

Tracy & Ben: Girls

2. More Maternity sessions and newborns! Isn’t it time some of my past bride and groom’s started having babies? ;)

3. More High School Seniors! This is an area I haven’t spent much time focused on in the past and this year I’m hoping to be a little more aggressive. I’d like to find some senior reps that will help spread the word about LoC at their school in exchange for discounts on their sessions! Let me know if you’re interested or know somebody who could be!

4. Establish Black, White and Boudoir. Boudoir photography continues to grow and gain in popularity and it’s something I’d like to be known for. It’s a great groom’s gift from the bride right around the wedding day. It’s a great anniversary gift for somebody special in your life. The sessions are fun and the pictures are always amazing! You get the idea! LoC is about continuing to make great photographs of the things important to you! Your family, your wedding, your moments! If you are already a client then I can’t wait to see you again in 2012! If you aren’t, well, what are you waiting for?

Baby Rykan

Tuesday, December 27th, 2011

It’s often been said that photographer’s should find one thing and do it really well – be it babies, weddings, seniors.  The problem with that is that I would miss out on seeing my clients…now friends…families grow and get to be a part of it.  It’s hard to believe that 18 months or so ago I was photographing Candice and Tom’s engagement session, then their wedding, some maternity photos not to long ago and just last week I got to meet baby Rykan for the first time.

I shared one quick picture of the new family just before Christmas.  Here are a few more to enjoy!
