Senior Pictures Field and Flowers
Field and flowers or concrete and cities? That's usually the question I respond with when people ask where we should go for their portrait session. Maddie wanted fields and flowers. I knew just the spot.
Maddie is another Eastlake North Class of 2017 Senior. She's also the daughter of good friends - so no pressure to get thi ...
Eastlake North Senior Portraits
Chris is a Ranger. A two sport Ranger. As a kid he just played football. Then he just played soccer. Now he does both. Last year he even became a bit of a local celebrity for hitting the longest field goal in school history during the first game of the season to cap a win for the good guys.
We met up at the school to take h ...
Bailey – Scene Five
Scene Five. Five. That's how many times Bailey has been in front of my camera. We work well together. It's a collaboration. It's the gym for creative exercise.
A few weeks ago I was out exploring the area playing Pokemon Go with my kids. Yes. WITH MY KIDS! We were at a park I'd been to before but never really explored m ...
Olivia at Squire’s Castle
This young lady, Olivia, is dancer with my daughter. This week she's living it big out in LA taking part in some workshops, but last weekend we got together to take some fun photos and get some portraits she can use as head shots.
We worked our way around the grounds at Squire's Castle. Avoiding a wedding and family portrait s ...
Meredith at the Beach
Occasionally, I reach out, share what inspires me and ask if anybody would like to help me out with a themed session. Meredith answered one of those calls and we headed out to Mentor Headlands to have a bit of fun. It was warm, the waves were rolling and the sun was shining. We had a great evening making some fantastic photos th ...
Little Jackson was less than a week old when I got to meet him and his parents last week. I enjoy these simple newborn sessions. At the families home, typically right in their living room. All you need a plain wall and some nice light flowing in through a window.
Little Mason was born two months ago, just before Christmas. He's a happy little man and his parents love him to pieces! I was so happy to spend a little bit of time getting to know him and capturing some of his very first portraits! Can't wait to watch him grow-up!
Beauty and the Beach
Bailey is the beauty on the beach. You might recognize her from other posts on the blog. She's become my "go to" model when I want to try something different. Different could be new gear - a new camera, a new lens. Different could also be old gear - in this case an old Canon film camera.
It was early and cold. That blanket ...
Jackie – Class of 2015
Jackie is another of the great Class of 2015 Seniors that I worked with this year. It was a fantastic fall day when we got together in downtown Willoughby to take advantage of the some of the historic architecture around the square. Turns out the Jackie is a big fan of Christmas so we also lucked since the decorations were alread ...
Taylor – Class of 2015
Taylor is another Class of 2015 Senior! She'll be graduating from Lake Catholic next Spring and looking forward to life after high school.
We met in Downtown Willoughby a few weeks back to take advantage of a perfect evening. We walked the streets and had a great time taking some wonderful pictures!
Family Portraits in Chagrin Falls
I met Jason, Molly and their children several weeks back on a beautiful evening for family portraits in Chagrin Falls. We walked the grassy commons area, taking photos here and there before ending the evening with some ice cream for my very well behaved models! Pictures and ice cream! Doesn't get much better than that!
Always great to see a past family again, especially when it is to meet the newest, and youngest, member of the family!
Danielle has been the hero of our household this summer. She was there everyday to make to help with Carter and Paige - getting them to camps, to practices, and making sure they ate lunch. I'm probably leaving a few things out!
But this post really isn't about Danielle. It's about testing out a new camera system. For years I'v ...
Scott – Eastlake North Class of 2015
Scott is in Eastlake North High Class of 2015. That's my high school Alma mater. Go Rangers.
Not only is Scott a lacrosse player, but he has a lot of shoes and he's looking to go on to Veterinary School. Cool hobby. Cool career. I wish his nothing but the best on his journey after high school.
