Weekend Update!

Sunday, October 10th, 2010

Wow!  It’s been a busy weekend around LoC.   Family photos, a Baptism, and a little trespassing!

Kicked off Saturday morning with a family session.  Always fun and got some great shots.  Followed that up with a Baptism on Sunday morning for baby Addyson.  Got home in time to watch a crazy Browns’ game and then headed out to break the law with Candice and Tom – a little trespassing, something about the movie “Wrong Turn” and a wicked old car!   I really had plans to not edit anything until later in this week, but with all the good shots I had from all three sessions I wanted to get something out there!

Puddles of Light

My good friend, Andrea, and I went scouting locations for some weddings we’re shooting together next year.  She needed a tour guide for Cleveland and I just needed and excuse to go downtown and shoot.

Among our stops was the old Cleveland Courthouse.  We found these fantastic puddles of light coming through the windows on the second floor.  The building was being setup for a reception and that was great as it gave us a good idea of how it will look when we get our chance at the place.

From there was hustled over to the Hyatt Hotel in the Old Arcade. There was a wedding being shot there as well. I’m sure we would have been doing it better. ;) There wasn’t a whole lot of other activity going on except for these guys taking in the quiet afternoon with a game of chess.
