Last weekend Kathy and Matt were married in front of their closest family and friends. The day started off with a few surprises. First it was raining like crazy on the east side of town and looked like it would all day. Not the best for the outdoor reception that was planned for later that evening. Second, I was greeted by a limping groom at the church. Matt and broken his foot earlier in the week. He put in a good effort and made it down the aisle without the walking boot and with a smile on his face, but I’d expect nothing less from a fireman!
The rain stopped just around the time the ceremony ended and we hit the fire station for a few quick shots before heading to the reception at their house. A huge tent filled the backyard and a big BBQ was on. Dinner, dancing and a great party ended with a beautiful release of Chinese lanterns after the sun set. It was the perfect ending to the night!

Here are the rest of the shots from Amanda and Scott’s wedding at the Lodge in Geneva.
It was a beautiful – but windy – day and it was enjoyed by their close family and friends that attended. I wish them both nothing but happiness in their future together!

Finally finished editing Shida and Maurice’s wedding pictures. So many great shots and that’s all because they were so fun to work with.
I met up with Shida at the Glidden House while she was finishing her make-up and getting into her dress. Maurice and the guys met us there a bit later for a first look. I have to admit, I winged it on this and just got lucky that the elevator opened up into a great place to pull this off. Maurice was very patient while Shida teased him from the open door of the elevator! I’m not sure I would have waited until she came up and tapped his shoulder.
After the first look and a few formal pictures inside of Glidden, we all braved the cold temps and went outside to take advantage of the crystal blue sky and fantastic architecture that surrounds the CWRU campus. It was a short – and cold – walk from Glidden to Harkness Chapel and it provided a few stops to grab some great pictures of the whole wedding party. Did I mention it was cold?
The ceremony was perfect. Lots of laughs and smiles. Then it was off to Nighttown for the reception! Great club and I think it fit the couples style perfectly.
I wish Shida and Maurice all the best and a future full of happiness. It’s very easy to see they are perfect for each other and off to a wonderful start on their marriage!

Elaine and Bill may be off in Mexico but I’m not waiting to post their pics. I like them too much!
I have to say, they were a great couple to work with. Really carefree and just out to have a good time on their wedding day. I think it shows in all the smiles.

The weather in Cleveland was downright nasty last weekend. Cold, rain, wind… Perfect weather…..for a wedding in ALABAMA!
Kayla and Sam got married in Bay Minette last weekend. It was a nice way to spend the time between the Auburn game in the morning and the ‘Bama game that night.
War Eagle! Roll Tide!
Actually, it was a great way to spend time with two people that are perfect for each other and ready to start a great future together.
Friday night we all met the First United Methodist Church for the rehearsal run through. You can tell somebody was paying lots of attention!

A beautiful dress!

Kayla and Sam met in the first grade performing a play in the school auditorium. Some favors were called in and a somehow we ended up with the keys to the school so we went there after the ceremony for a few shots back where it all began for these two!

Then it was off to the Kahalley House for the reception.

I wish you both nothing but the best and a future full of happiness! I’m sure you’ll get it!
