It was a beautiful – but windy – day and it was enjoyed by their close family and friends that attended. I wish them both nothing but happiness in their future together!
This is another story of the connections I’ve remade because of photography. Scott and I went to kindergarten together, then middle school, and high school. Falling out of touch sometime after graduation like so many people do. We connected again through Facebook and then he let me know he was getting married and wanted to know if I would shoot the wedding. Of course! I met Amanda for the first time a month of so ago and completely understand how special she is. Just this past weekend they were married in a small ceremony at the Lodge at Geneva on the Lake. So it rained on their engagement shoot day and beach pictures were really important to them we got together just about a week ago to hit the sand. The sunset still didn’t cooperate with us, but it was nice enough to stroll in the water and let Maverick play in the sand!
I’m sure you’ve all seen the west harbor lighthouse that guarding the mouth of the Cuyahoga near Whiskey Island. It’s been in the paper, even made MSNBC. Still, I had to go myself and get a shot of it. Landscapes like this don’t come around often and they tend to be different everyday – especially during the winter.
This was also my first visit to Whiskey Island. What a great location. This is such a great place for a portrait session – Senior Photos, Engagement, Wedding. Can’t wait to get back there again!
Cassi sent me an email about a month ago and called me as “Picture Paul”. Right away I knew she was sent my way by Austin and Oliva’s parents! O always calls me “Picture Paul!”
She said she wanted some shots of her young twin sons and a few of the whole family. We picked Mentor Headlands and planned to meet up last Wednesday – which turned out to be one awfully hot and rainy day. That meant I had to wait one more day, until Thursday, to get to meet two of the cutest little kids I have ever seen. Together with their parents, the family looked like it stepped right out of a magazine shoot!
