I really don’t think we need a pet. These guys are in the backyard all the time and getting pretty comfortable with us.

We had company in the backyard last night. Above is last years fawn. Not big enough to jump the fence into our yard, but his momma is. He kept a close eye on me while I took her picture.

It amazes me that I can look out my backdoor – and my front door – and see deer in the yard. Growing up in Willowick it was unheard of to see a deer.
This is fawn is finally big enough to jump our fence and get in to eat our plants – just like his momma does.
