Fall Family Portraits

Monday, October 11th, 2010

Earlier this summer while sitting in the outfield of my daughter’s softball game, probably while spitting sunflower seeds, Debi turned to me and said “You’re Left of Center”? Impressive first impression, eh?

Actually, it wasn’t her first impression. Her daughter and mine played on the same softball team and her son and mine played against each other in baseball all season long. They even faced each other in the Championship game at the end of the season.

Our schedules finally worked out once summer sports ended and last weekend we all got together at Colby Park in Wickliffe for a family portrait session.

Bridging Seasons

Thursday, October 16th, 2008

An old bridge crosses a little stream in the woods I walk through when I need to get away from my desk at the office for a while.

Bridging Seasons

I’ve crossed it many times but never stopped to photograph it until this week.

Fall Ohio

Fall Reflection

Autumn arrived in Ohio over the past couple of weeks. I took these on an afternoon walk at the Holden Arboretum. It’s only a few minutes away from my other job and it’s a great place to get away from the office for a while during lunch.
