Just a little over a week ago Haley and Jim celebrated their wedding day in historic Burton, Ohio. A perfect location for a fall wedding and the weather gave us a hard time, but it cooperated just long enough to let us get outside and take in the scenery for a whole bunch of pictures!

Haley & Jim – Married!
Monday, October 24th, 2011Shida + Maurice: The Wedding
Saturday, April 2nd, 2011Finally finished editing Shida and Maurice’s wedding pictures. So many great shots and that’s all because they were so fun to work with.
I met up with Shida at the Glidden House while she was finishing her make-up and getting into her dress. Maurice and the guys met us there a bit later for a first look. I have to admit, I winged it on this and just got lucky that the elevator opened up into a great place to pull this off. Maurice was very patient while Shida teased him from the open door of the elevator! I’m not sure I would have waited until she came up and tapped his shoulder.
After the first look and a few formal pictures inside of Glidden, we all braved the cold temps and went outside to take advantage of the crystal blue sky and fantastic architecture that surrounds the CWRU campus. It was a short – and cold – walk from Glidden to Harkness Chapel and it provided a few stops to grab some great pictures of the whole wedding party. Did I mention it was cold?
The ceremony was perfect. Lots of laughs and smiles. Then it was off to Nighttown for the reception! Great club and I think it fit the couples style perfectly.
I wish Shida and Maurice all the best and a future full of happiness. It’s very easy to see they are perfect for each other and off to a wonderful start on their marriage!
Elaine + Bill: The Wedding!
Monday, November 29th, 2010Michelle + Kevin – It’s Chalk!
Saturday, May 1st, 2010Sneak peek from today’s wedding. Wanted to get one shot up the Michelle and Kevin can see and share before they head off for a wonderful two week long honeymoon!
Had a great time shooting their ceremony and wandering around the neighborhood to get some fun pictures before they headed off to their reception.
More coming later this week!
Mentor Headland’s Winter Wonderland
Saturday, January 2nd, 2010Actually, I wonder what I was thinking heading out to the beach with wind chills that had to be in the single digits if not lower. Of course, the guy that was windsurfing one up’ed me in the dedication department.
Like the video said, I made it to the lighthouse without freezing to death.
The most interesting find of the day was this dried up bouquet of roses along the lighthouse breakwall. If anybody knows the story please leave it in the comments or email it to me. If you don’t know the story, make up what you think it might be all about!
Then in the car and off to Mentor Lagoons for a quick walk. It was my first time there and I’m glad my good friend Andi (also crazy enough to make this trip with me) introduced me to the place.
Let me know what you think of the video. I’m planning on including them more with the posts this year.
