Something to Chew On

This post has nothing to do with that picture, other than I want to give you something to chew on and think about.

The senior class of 2010 is already counting the days to graduation, but the seniors of 2011 still have a lot to think about. One of those things is probably their Senior Portraits. I’m looking for a gentleman and lady from Eastlake North and Will… Willl… hmmm.. I went to Eastlake North so saying Willoughby South is like talking about the state up north. ;) In fact, I’ll work with any local senior and any local school!

What do I want from the lucky gentleman and lady. I want them to be my reps and refer their friends to LoC for Senior Portraits. That’s all. I’ll take their picture, give them some rep cards and depending on how many friends they send my way they will get discounts on their portrait session with me. Heck, they refer enough people, they might even get their own session for free.

If you’re interested, then drop me a line – phone or email and we can set something up.

Seniors

Eleven Seniors took the ice last night for their last home game at Benedictine High School.   They played their hearts out and spent a frantic last minute trying to tie the game up, but unfortunately they ended up on the short end of the score by one goal.

Skate

The guys had a great season and still have a couple of games left to finish out the year. Hopefully, they’ll play those games as well as this one and when the buzzer sounds they will be on the winning side. It was great to watch them skate last night!

Way to go Seniors! Best of luck in the future, both on and off the ice!

Another Senior Portrait session last week.  I think I’m getting the hang of this.

This time around I headed up to Vermilion and Huron to take picture of my nephew who is graduating from Benedictine.

We spent the first part of the session on the street of Vermilion. I like to just walk the streets of a small town like this and take advantage of the different locations that we come across. You never know what to expect but the results are always great.

There were on the front porch of some older property house that was for sale.

Then we headed to Huron and hit the beach for a few shots.

I know the newest Pocket Wizards didn’t get the best reviews, but I’ve been using the Mini TT1 and Flex TT5 with my 5dmkII and 580EXII with great results. Usually just hand holding it with an smaller umbrella, or as the case is here, bare and letting the TTL do it’s thing.

Apparently, shooting Senior Portraits in Hudson can attract a lot of attention.

Woo Hoo! Look at ME!

About two shutter clicks into my session with Marissa last weekend this guy and his buddy started pounding on the glass. One of them even came outside and said something like “I love you!” before running back in. Crazy!

Almost as crazy as Marissa telling me she wasn’t photogenic. Right….

We started off just walking around the square in Hudson. Plenty of good places (except for next to the bar) to shoot right there on the street and in the park.

Check out the heels!

We moved onto a second location. This one also had lots of windows, but, fortunately nobody was pounding on them.

And one more shot with some killer shoes in it.

Enjoy those shoes. She’ll be trading them in for, get this, Marine issue boots next summer!

Good luck Marrisa! Have a great Senior year!

Screened

Had a great Senior session with Sean over the weekend. He wanted thing low key so we just took advantage of the stuff around his place. It’s amazing what you can find to use for backdrops and such if you just take time to look.
