The deer didn’t eat all of our sunflowers this year and today one finally started to open up. As you can tell from the sky, it was the only sunny thing in the backyard this afternoon. Hot, humid and cloudy here in the ‘burbs. At least it feels like summer for a change.
I absolutely love the unfurling of the sunflower with the stormy sky in the background. Shows strength and courage, I think!
